No. Your content is encrypted on your device before it's sent, and the decryption key lives inside the link — the part after the # — which browsers never send to a server. We only ever store scrambled data. A few narrow technical exceptions are listed plainly in our Privacy Policy. See also how it works.

The link self-destructs after it's viewed — but not the instant the first request arrives. The reader's tab sends a quiet heartbeat, and the content is deleted only once that heartbeat stops, meaning once nobody is actually looking at it anymore. This avoids the classic problem where a link preview or scanner "opens" and destroys your paste before the real recipient ever sees it.

Then it's gone for good. Because the decryption key is part of the link and we don't keep it, there's no recovery and no reset — not even for us. Save the link somewhere safe before you close the tab.

Yes. Every paste, file and file bundle gets its own deletion link the moment you create it, shown right next to the share link — save it if you might want to remove the content early. Anyone holding the deletion link can use it, and it works independently of the share link, so people you send the content to can't delete it just by having viewed it. If you lose the deletion link, email [email protected] with the share link instead.

Up to you. Set an expiry time, use burn after read, or leave it with no expiry so it stays until it's deleted. A scheduled cleanup removes expired content automatically.

Text and code pastes are capped at 100,000 characters. Files have a size limit shown in the uploader.

A quick way to move a link between your own devices. Turn it on in the menu on both devices (same browser), then push a link from one to the other with a short code — handy for getting something from your laptop to your phone without messaging yourself.

When sharing text you can style it with simple commands — bold, italic, strikethrough, size, monospace, color, and centering — so a shared note or snippet is readable instead of a wall of plain text.
